Jedi Master Quest - QGJ Squad Arena Wins

Can we please get this requirement changed to just be win 20 squad arena battles with only Jedi? The Tier 2 Sith Agent and Sith Master quests require you to win 10 and 20 squad arena battles with only Sith, respectively. The Tier 2 Jedi Knight and Jedi Master though require you to win 10 squad arena battles with only Jedi and 20 arena battles with QGJ, respectively. It puts a higher burden on people seeking the Jedi Master title because QGJ is so lackluster in arena.

I'd like to be able to complete this quest without having to sacrifice my arena rank to be able to win matches in the Revan mirror world by trying to make it work with QGJ.

  • It's challenging not impossible. You'll get it if you really want to. You don't have to leave QGJ in on defence so your arena rank won't be a huge issue at all
  • I did it because there were still a few Traya and NS teams in arena at that time

I’m not looking forward to dropping 2 or 3 hundred spots for that “award”

Use the Revan team. Swap bastila for qgj.
    That's what I did

Surprisingly I could beat every single team, even the most tankiest, durable jolee bindo's without any issue. I thought running a g11 QGJ with terrible mods would lead to timeout but turns out you don't even need decent mods on the guy

Eh. It's only a couple days. Wait until after payout for your final battle, tank your rank for two, three days at most, then start winning and do it all in a couple days.

When I did the first go-around (stage 2 of the first questline) I got the #50 payout on the first day, changed defense to just Ugnaught, weirdly only dropped to something like 101 so I did one battle to finish at 100 for the next rank, then changed back to Ugnaught and dropped to ~250 for day two, day 3 I was around 500, then I started climbing back up. Without using any refreshes I managed to get the needed wins using very bad Jedi (I didn't even have Kenobi at 7*!) in two days. 20 with Qui-Gon will take longer, but I think you've got a good chance with it now that there are characters like Bastila or Revan.

It's not a big sacrifice. He doesn't have to be the leader or anything, just slot him in and you're good to go! Depending on what your leaderboard looks like you might not even have to drop much due to the viability of newer Jedi!
