So with the arrival of Satele Shan, what happens to JML finally? Revan is moving to her squad, and JML is going to get even weaker than he already is. Already now he is even more useless than SEE. Countless non-GL counters could beat him already now.
So how much lower can he sink as a Galactic “Legend”? Buff or rework him, otherwise as a so-called "Legend" he is of no use.
I was hoping that Revana and Bastilla were placeholders in a Satelle squad- but the wording in her kit pretty much locks them in (that could change). Eventually we will get more Old Republic Jedi that may perform better there despite that wording. Old Luke will still be pretty good for what we use him for without Revan - I think. He can already get around taunt and ninja Luke can dispel-

Well, for GAC it looks to be that way. However, outside of GAC Stella Shandy doesn't look very good. So, JML can keep him if wanted.....I guess.

How much does JKR actually add to the JML squad? For me, I usually use him against JMMW or Frog people. Maybe, if I have to, vs Baylan. Vs JMMW, I don't see JKR making 'that' much difference. However, vs the other 2, avoiding taunt or marking, it will make a difference, I guess. I still rate SEE, but I continually get frustrated with JML with or without Revan. I guess, it all depends on datacrons too. I was putting green face girl in his team when she had the datacron from the last batch; that worked nicely. So, I would think with 3 cron sets in play, that most of the time there will be somebody with a cron to put in as the 5th.

Well as Bass Shandy is now on the Stella Shandy team......I think he has zero viability on defence.....unless a datacron changes that. In PvE he's still very good. In PvP outside of GAC, same as he was. However, yes I do agree with your overall sentiment, he's not really a GL in GAC any more.

Well....how many more 'lifters' can this guy take? He's already formed the 5 piece band "Luke and the lifters"; before having Revan removed every single other character in the team could have been considered a 'lifter'. Maybe, he needs a lifter for his lifters?!

He's old both literally and in game. Its how power creep works.
If you're depending on JML things will get better as your roster improves, in the mean time you've got a new toon who will probably give you more and punch up, while JML will be as effective as he is now as a low tier GL who can be quite handy at low to mid levels and in end game used to beat some good non-GL teams.
It's not like he was every on a par with even GLs that came out around the time he did with only SEE sitting below him. Also for what he is useful now Revan isn't essential at all. You're jumping the gun massively here.
This. If OP is that dependant on JML and can't use them without JKR then its a non-issue, at their level they can use JML without Revan, and if they have Satelle they'll probably have an extra option to use.
They aren't concerned about Galactic Legends. Even though they claimed that GL's were the "top tier" of characters, they've put all their energy into building teams that destroy GLs.
Maybe we'll get a lifter for JML in the future, maybe not. More likely we'll get more characters and teams to beat GLs on auto because they don't care about GLs anymore. GLs probably won't be making them as much money as this new stupid era battle setup in which they expect us to pay to build characters before we can even use and test them. (But then, CG doesn't test them either so I guess by their logic, it makes sense.)
In 3s you can still use JML for "certain" teams with JKL and Jedi Cal. Or even Hermit Yoda. In 5s it'll be a bigger question though, but there are still quite a few other jedi to work with.
You're misunderstanding, Duncan. As a player with over 15m+, I'm not dependent on JML at all. I'm just talking about his status as a GL, which, in my opinion, isn't reflected in the game at all. Both SLK and Rey are older than him and have aged very well. JML seems to have been forgotten somehow.

That's not true. Back when there were only the first 4 GLs, JML was THE SLK-killer. He was also very useful later on against the old LV lineup with DV. In the meantime, SLK - the very first GL in the game(!) - got a great lifter in DRey. Rey, the second GL, seems to get a new lifter with every fifth new toon. JML seems to be the only GL that is no longer capable of beating another GL. Even with SEE, that’s still possible, at least with Bane.
I’m not sure if JKCK was ever intended as a lifter for JML; in any case, it barely helped him progress. Both seem to take forever to reach their ultimate.
I can hardly remember encountering a JML at any point in the last year or further back, neither in GA nor TW. That pretty much says it all about his status. And we all know that’s not because he’s such a great attacker that he never shows up in defense.
His performance is more on par with a better non-GL squad. That’s pathetic for a Galactic Legend and that's what I'm complaining about. It doesn't feel right.
