I don't know what game you're playing, but even mod swapping with the most perfect mods doesn't guarantee you a perfect score on the first attempt.

Surely it cuts down on the RNG though. I have one team that hits max score in one or two attempts when they're modded correctly, but if I try without remodding it's almost impossible. I think the point TVF was trying to make is that mods can help reduce the effects of RNG. It's certainly not a cure-all, but I don't think anyone is making that claim. But if someone is going to refuse to remod and then complain that there's too much RNG, that's at least partially their own fault.

Feel how you want to feel about Krayt - I'm not totally burnt on it but I'm also not going all out to hit max score on every run because my guild is a fair distance away from the next box - there's not enough benefit for the time investment I'd have to make. I can definitely see how people are getting tired of it though, and remodding IS a PITA (CG could do something to help with this if they wanted to) and has also started seriously cutting into my credit stash so I'm doing a lot less of it now. But the other side of that coin is, I'm not going to complain that my score is lower, nor that my personal rewards are less. It is what it is - I'm not going to willfully frustrate myself over and over on the altar of perfectionism, even though it does bug me a little to submit a score that's 50 or 100k short of max.

If your guild is demanding that of you, maybe you just need a more relaxed guild. I've had a couple of players transplant to my guild from more serious and demanding guilds and they seem pretty happy in spite of getting less rewards than they were before. Seedy is right - find the level of activity and performance that works for you to keep the game fun.
