I'm not arguing with your oppinon of the JTR farming being unfun. It's an oppinion and it's as good as any other oppinion. However, stating that it's unfun because the drop rates for veteran han/chewie shards is lower than drop rates for other cantina farms is silly and untrue. The drop rates are similar to drop rates for other cantina farms. It's fair enough that you want an easier access to JTR, but your argument and reason is silly and not based on reality. For this reason you will not have my support.
On a side not:
To get through phase 3 of the heroic tier you pretty much need to have a high number of death troopers in your guild. Death trooper is another 16 cantina energy node farm. He's exactly as long a farm as any of the two veterans. Yes, there are alternatives — just like he's part of an alternative phase 1 team without JTR. I don't see nearly as many people complaining about farming him as people complaining about farming veterans.
