Channeling your frustrations into accusations that the devs are changing the odds behind the screen just to **** with you on anecdotal evidence that you know damn well ain't statistically significant? That ain't kosher.
Well that's your opinion and as you pointed out we're all entitled to them about each others.
When I play the lottery, which is almost never because it's a suckers bet, I at least know the odds. You know how many balls and how many numbers. If you can't do the math it's printed on the ticket. Drop rates by shard are not. Does this mean anything or point to wrong doing. Nope.
Those chests that have between 5 and 330 shards (or whatever the amount is) are the odd printed? Nope. It's a gamble and you have no idea what they may or may not be based on. Is it rigged? Not in an illicit way probably. I mean it's done to favor them as any card game favors the house.
They make money based on how we spend. There is certainly a potential motive. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that they could adjust the drop rate of a single node? Is it written anywhere that all nodes have the same rate even within a tier? It's not so even if they did it then it technically isn't even any wrong doing.
Look do I really think they are doing it? No. I mean it's easy to think that and contemplate possibilities. It's easy to blame things on that and the mind wanders, but it's very unlikely I will concede that. Is it impossible? No. Improbable? Yes. That's all. So to be fair to CG my apologies then. I'll leave it at that on the subject.
