I agree that GC should give the required faction the best chances to win. (I am not saying it should be easy!) Why not give the faction a specific modifier that fits the squad or fleet which helps a bit more than some random other fleets/squads. Different power levels of squads aswell as fleets need to be considered. People always say you should not expect to get everything right away especially if you don't have a big account and yet in this instance it actually punishes people whom have the required squad or fleet and makes it possible for more people to complete it, eventhough they don't have the favoured faction. This doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't be the ones with the favoured faction have an advantage over those without it?
If the favoured faction for example would be Inquisitors and people would complain that they can't solve the challenge because they don't have them, there would be (rightfully) lots of comments telling them, that if they expect to solve the challenge they need the faction and should not complain if they don't have it.
And now all of a sudden it is ok not to have that faction and solve it with something totally different? If that is how CG wants to proceed in the future, then they better keep it that way and never expect people to actually build up the specific faction because you can "cheese" it with something else.
