So any guesstimates as to when the Event will begin? You think immediately after Conquest ends? Think it will run for a week or just one day? Trying to figure out if I'll make it in time....fingers crossed

The red crate without a pass only nets you 90 a time, and so you can only get to 270/330. I will concede I’d forgotten a factor myself in the wandering scavenger. It would be possible without a pass to get those missing 60 shards, but only if you’ve also bought every set of shards from the wandering scavenger in all three conquests as well. Otherwise to get to 330 before the next conquest you’d need a pass.Red crate plus the 20 shards you can get from the wandering scavenger gets you 110 a conquest. 110 x 3 = 330.

Even ahnald agrees the likelihood of it being before August is slim as Mark VI shards haven't hit shipments an won't for a couple of weeks. Cash to be had from both the Dagger and Mark VI

Why would they wait for the chase ships to be in shipments? Are there folks willing to spend that didn't get them to 7* during the chase? Also, non-whale endgame players will have had time to replenish their crystal stashes from the mad dash to relic and chase everything. Of course, I'm a sample point of 1.

None of this speculation really matters. I'm sure CG has a good metric for the release cadence that will maximize revenue.

Its what they've done with every other release

There was somewhere in their posts that if you want Levi asap you will need to get Fury asap
In September only lazy won't be able to get Fury as it nearly 3 month from here.
Why waiting for people to spend money in September if you can release new shiny in July and make people spend in July, August, September...?

It doesn't have to be in shipments, it was a chase ship....FYI, you can currently buy 20 shards for $25....

You'd be 75 shards short. So if you got red crate and all scavenger nodes for Conquest 4, you'd be 25 short. That being said, only getting gold crate on Conquest 4 will also allow you to unlock in 5 with no pad and no store, but again assuming all scavenger nodes. So in order to farm that AND the new unit from scavenger you would need to have plenty of currency and not spend on gear.

The shortest path in this situation if you were only spending crystals would be how long it takes the unit to show up 15 times in the store, assuming that is before Conquest 4 happens.

Thank you!!! Sounds like when it shows up in the store for crystals is the wildcard. I’m good shooting for gold crate but don’t feel the juice is worth the squeeze to stress out on trying to red crate conquest 4. If it happens, great, but am planning for gold crate and will buy from the scavenger nodes plus anytime it shows up for crystals.
