i mean the solution for coin flips is pretty easy and it’s mods or some other form of turn meter speed stat manipulation that is RNG based but nobody wants that
In a turn based game, there are some squads that will result in coin flips when all else is equal
That’s just game design for most team kits and it’s rarer to have the opposite
only way to beat that is to have differing stats and the only way to do that in fleet is to introduce mods
but if mods gave a static value (like a fixed +5 speed) then everyone with mods will have a coin flip situation again
so the solution is to have a bunch of mods with a range of speed rolls to prevent mirror matches from relying on coin flips
