Looking for help with JML Tier 3

I am 0/3 for this tier and have lost 180 tickets, I also would have unlocked him by now. But I for some reason cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I have followed the guides by cubsfanhan, ahnald, bulldog, gaming fans, and many others. If you watch their videos/read their articles they all mention "even if you do everything right you can still lose". Every single one of the "do everything right and still lose" scenarios has gotten me. I am now looking at another 2 days of farming tickets to try the tier again, and a total of 6 days until I unlock him if I get lucky enough to beat it 3 times in a row. This is beyond frustrating and I am really hoping someone here can help me out.

I just did the event right now again to make sure you’re just being stupid and his first ability block hit me, but the second one was resisted. So yeah, valid strategy, try it

Cool story, too bad Vader not landing ability block is caused by his basic only having an 80% chance to inflict ability block. Or did you see a white "Resisted" text popping up when he goes for his basic? I certainly do not.

Adastra and Indigo were the ones that put out the first valid strategies. One was with CA arrow, the other with potency focus to land blind more reliably.

I ended up doing a hybrid and ran a 15+ attempts test streak with no losses, then several guild mates ended up going 3/3 with it.

Stats to aim for in this modding:
CD/offense set with a potency set
CD triangle
CA arrow
Potency cross
~200-210 speed, close to 100% potency.

You open with JKL's Stalwart Advance, followed by basic, Heroes Arise then Stalwart advance again. With more potency you'll land blind more consistently, but with CA arrow you have a saving belt even if you get the worst possible Vader opening of MM, AoE, Culling Blade.
