Why should they? They got currency for doing that.

Went ftp this year and so far I'm getting my money's worth.

I don't care about GAC as it is just another boring game mode, until there's live PvP it's just a bunch of extra arena battles with different rewards. I'm more concerned they messed this up so bad that the geo launch this week is going to a gigantic mess. As a dev manager not really sure how people keep their jobs releasing such poor code at CG

10% of all my posts have asked the question "Why isn't there a BETA server?". So, why not? This problem would have been completely avoided if there was a beta server.

This is the ONLY multiplayer game I know of that doesn't have a beta server for testing new content, why?? 95% of your problems would have been picked up before they went live. And please don't tell me you can't afford it.

This is a huge change to the game, delay in rollout doesn’t concern me. The 1 Credit consolation gave pause, a placeholder for whatever is approved by game economists, hopefully something uplifting. I am worried about the fallout coming from cumulative changes, seems the target market may not include me anymore. I will have to check out Warner Brothers and I have just been loving the old Clone Wars 2 cartoons and novels. My friends and I do not want to die a slow death in this game, nor watch the game apocalypse (Octavia Butler 2.1 sort w walled enclaves). You have made a super game using awesome art. Thank you for all the good times so far.

They do have a beta server. We're all playing on it.

They need to solve this quickly on Monday:

1. Announce it’s fixed and starting again same day
2. Announce all participants are being given 1st place rewards (Those who already got some of the new currency have that removed)
3. Announce all participants are given winning rewards for each round
4. Announce all participants are given all first place event and round rewards for all GAs that were not ran in June due to this event
5. Reset all ranks
6. Reset all achievements tied to this event
8. Do all of this while being open and transparent to alleviate concerns and help calm some people down.


However in the real world they’ll probably just lower drop rate percentages and give us double-drops again to burn crystals on.

You're saying you deserve automatic max rewards for an event that's being delayed a couple days?

That’s exactly what I’m saying. I rarely lose at GA and my first round opponent in GAC would have been another win for me. But I want these rewards given to all participants.

A lot of people wasted time, effort, and money on an event that started last week and was canceled. Compensation is a good way to help smooth over negative situations.

Sometimes it’s not about what we would have earned or them giving us a second go at it. Sometimes it’s about saving face and acknowledging your mistakes and doing something good for your customer base to turn a negative into a positive.

Real leaders know this. CG has a lack of leadership and it shows with each announcement/event/release. Which is why this will not happen.
