Looking into issue with Grand Arena Championship

Everyone should receive the max possible rewards they would have been able to receive on the 1st round including any feats that could have been completed in 1 round...period. Based on the recent dev post update, it sound like anyone who was actually able to complete battles and get feats done will get to keep whatever they got but the rest of us who weren't able to run any battles aren't going to get any make-up for that.....just the flat reward that everyone will be getting. I know it's not a lot of GAC currency but it still doesn't make sense to leave out the majority of the players who weren't able to run any battles and therefore were not given an opportunity to complete battles or feats.

The fact that so many of us couldn't even earn points, but that those that did and got GAC credits get to keep them is BS. They should either remove all GAC credits from players, or equalize the amount and give it to those players that weren't able to participate due to the bug. By letting those that have credits keep them, but not giving anything to equalize the amount gives those players an advantage in getting gear already.

I have this nagging suspicion that might not be 100% genuine.

I agree. That is is unfair

Aside from that, at least communication is very good. Eric us keeping us in the loop

This! Alot of people (myself included) busted their whatevers to get ready for the big new shiny event, also my enemy was a joke and i fullcleared him.
Regarding the "we will compensate those of you who got the fleet arena quest".... yeah what about people who were ALMOST done? Like me? Nah man, you're not fair and probably can't make it right.

It is a very difficult decision as many of us would likely have defeated our opponents, but went straight to the review stage. I think the best option for them would be to give everyone compensation for the missed opportunities of currency, gear, mod salvage right now, and keep it as even as possible across the entire player-base. Then hopefully launch a new one very shortly. It is a good thing we have this 'exhibition' phase first. Some people did spend extra money or spend stuff they were hoarding in order to maximize their chances in GAC, but that will at least go towards the next GAC so it won't all be in vain. I even moved a fair bit of mods around just for GAC and had to mover them back as soon as it locked, which is a waste of credits and time. Frustrating, but it is what it is.

All I need is some mk8 biotech implants and mk5 stun guns... I bet everyone would be fine with that...

If it was an exhibition/test as many people say, then any ranks or titles earned should have been null and void, and really not obtainable other than virtually. If ranks and titles carried through to lifetime achievements then it wasn't a true exhibition. It was a full-blown GA.

Exhibition game-an unofficial game played under regular game conditions between professional teams, usually as a part of preseason training or as a fund-raising event.

Any encouragement to monetize GA makes it no longer an exhibition, rather the real thing. If they look at it as a fund raising event then I'd like to see the paperwork showing their not for profit status or what fund they were raising money for.

Imagine an artist putting an incomplete piece of art on display. That is essentially what happened with this failed attempt at an "exhibition".

Does not need to be a big deal. Just give anybody who joined the event and has 0 currency to show for it the average amount that those who could do battles, feats, etc. earned. Or equalize everyone at, say, 100.

Again, a pittance of a sum, nothing that would hurt CG's balance-sheets. Unless sheer, unmitigated greed were a factor. But none of their behavior has previously suggested that this is a motivation for them, amirite?

99% of people would of completed the fleet feats within the week they thought they had, why are only the people who spammed it in two days getting extra rewards?
