LSTB Platoon requirements

I mean, they've made platoons static now so over time, this will be a non-issue in the future

Previously platoons would update as soon as new marquees would be released

We always knew that new ships and toons released before Republic Offense start date were fair game months in advance

End game content. They dont expect people to max star this thing right off the bat. It's a goal to work towards, not a handout. Dont play if you dont like working towards a goal

This is because "LS TB is a long term end game content for guilds" a.k.a. We want to put out content in the game that isnt instantly able to be beaten with characters/ships that require more MONEYS!

What happened to just using a PLACEHOLDER? You can block progression in a simple way like you did for years on tier gear. These requirements don't have to equate to insanity.

It really is a joke. If this is endgame content, we need to be able to choose mid-game content in form of DS Geo TB instead. They can't possibly expect us to go back to Hoth. How are we supposed to work towards LS Geo-readiness if we can't earn GET2 to unlock the Negotiator?

The argument "this content has to last" argument doesn't fly since it would be easy to adjust the difficulty and platoon requirements over time. In fact, I see no reason why this shouldn't automatically scale with guild GP. The same goes for raids. Maybe we wouldn't be so desperate for a new raid if HPit and HAAT were designed to scale up based on our guild GP. The difficulty could even be tailored to individual player GP.

Don't let pathological contrarians, agents provocateurs, or players with a bad case of Stockholm syndrome derail this feedback thread and turn it into a heated back-and-forth to give the false impression of a player base that is split on this issue. I want a designer/developer to justify why they think forcing us to lock off characters we put significant resources into makes for good game design.
