Mace could be made very very relevant with just a few small things. Zeta smite- aoe dispel and expose all characters without buffs for 2 turns. Up his damage just a tad more. Like maybe 15%. ...

Give mace thr love and respect he deserves. I've had him geared for a long time, hopping he was going to be the tank version of QGJ, but his smite/dispel never connected,. He's a capital ship commander, he really needs a rework to make him compelling in game. IMHO
