Absolutely, but Youtube videos are very specific to who the YouTuber has geared and is comfortable playing with. Also, those videos often focus on the teams, not the individual characters and what they can do by themselves or in other teams. If you don't have a character geared that is used in a team, you can't use that team. The goal here is to get an idea of what the more general community thinks is good, and then make a list detailing what makes the character good in 3v3 specifically, and allow people to build (and therefore actually know how to use) their own teams.
