1. She did say that “she” could not train him. That’s easy to understand. She’s not a Jedi. She never promoted beyond Padawan. She never trained anyone. She doesn’t believe in the Jedi way. She watched as her favorite person in the world turned dark because of his attachments and then killed her.
2. She sent them on the journey so that Grogu could decide on his own whether he wanted to be trained. Sending him to Luke takes away that choice.
3. Mando was useful to her to rescue the civilians
4. The fighting was fine. Was the “empire lady” force sensitive? I got that impression. Also, there have been plenty of non-force users that held their own against Jedi and Sith.
5. She’s intentionally trying to not kill the lady, which is way different than trying to slaughter Maul. As I said before, the fighting was fine. Nothing spectacular, but good enough.
