Matchmaking Doesn’t equal prize tiers

I am in The Republic Alliance of 16 guilds, and we have noticed a pattern through the various matchups, and that is opponents not being in the same prize tier. It varies from 300-319M prize tier vs 340-359M prize tier, to 240-259M prize tier against 300-319M prize tier.

We can confirm that even beating a guild in a higher prize tier only gives the rewards of the lower tier, but the upper hand guild still gets the higher bracket rewards.

Not only are we now seeing a 70M spread across opponents, but a guild beating a higher team can still get less rewards than the losing team simply because it was 2-3 prize brackets lower.

We have confirmed this through In game screen shots of TW history on our side and the opponents.

  • Yep that is by design.
