Maul in Galactic Challenge

How long took you to think before writing down this? R1 Mandalorians means to you "all the content in the game"?

Read the enemies modifiers, choose appropriate disks and characters team comp =win.
You can’t beat the game with just one team unfortunately

There is no disk in the Challenge, I am talking about Tier VII.

Galactic Challenges are meant to stretch your roster - you aren’t meant to take the same team and lineup for every challenge.

I have to ask, did you by any chance bring in General Kenobi as part of your Padme team? If so, I'd suggest you try a few different teams without GK. Maul is not a superhero, but he does get some extra oomph to start with if you take a Kenobi character against him.
At your GP I'm not sure how many options you have, but with scoundrels such as BAM, CAT, Chewie, Han this GC is super easy. I'd wager CAT is not yet an option for you, but pretty sure that BAM, Han, Chewie could be a solid foundation if you have those 3 geared well.

I just tried out my own "standard" Padme team: Padme R5, Ahsoka R6, JKA R7, General Kenobi R8, C3P0 R5
I won first attempt on Tier 10. Again, I reckon I might have more relic levels on the rest of the team than you do, but it is actually quite possible to win with Padme, just took me some time.

Be sure to use the event special on your toons to get rid of the damage and speed reduction. Go for Bo-Katan first, as her unique grant the entire team protection regen, which is super annoying when paired with the Mando GC modifier. It will likely take you some time to punch through her, but once she is down, rest goes down more easily. I went for Maul after Bo-Katan, but not sure if that's optimal or if it even matters who you target after Bo.

Always good to take out Maul. He's the only one on the team capable of ignoring taunt (when he has 5 stacks). I knocked him out first for that reason when doing the all Scoundrel feat.

Doh, I forgot I could use CAT! I did it with BH, then JKL for the no-tank & undersized team. Han worked for the first few tiers, but then I switched to BH.

Galactic challenges are… challenges. So they shouldn’t be a cakewalk for any team. They’re generally designed with some additional bonuses for the enemy team and not every squad is equipped to handle that.

A diversified roster is the safest guarantee of a win against Galactic Challenges. It’d be foolish to assume any particular squad, however reliced, is suited to win against all enemy teams.

I feel like Saxon gave me more trouble than Maul did… he ends up assisting 5+ times if you get a counter, and all those attacks heal quite a lot.

Although maybe that’s just the illusion of more hits = better. Still, between Maul, Bo-Katan, and Saxon this team was annoying.
