ALWAYS start with g8/9 for an event. Thrawn was arguably the hardest event we've had and many of us passed it with only g8/9 PX. EP I passed easily with G9/10 toons and not the best Rebels (AA, Leia, StHan, Luke, and HRScout) AND I used no mods - none. Slide it up though depending on how many Omegas you sink in the toons and also the quality of your arena mods you can bring over. G9 across the board I think you'd be safe long as you move over your better mods.
