These Sets share a common structure (think: common, uncommon, and rarer versions of each Material type), but each can only be used for its matching Datacrons. This is intended to ensure that Players can chase each set without worrying about “missing out” on future opportunities. It also ensures the system can reduce inflation over time, allowing us to keep upgrade costs more stable over time and a fair start to each new Set’s release.

That sounds more like they don't want us to hoard currency and then max out a single datacron f2p. Again nice words that shall deceive us about their true intentions.
