0 Fun, not enough time in the arena to do battles with new Meta.

Challeneges and GW is so much harder.

Cannot upgrade my gear, game is pointless now.

Thank you so much for this update. Will help longevity of the game. I'm glad we can finally build our roster outside of what we have.

I'm fairly certain that it's understood that a major update was needed for the reason he named, BUT is it necessary to nerf the tanks (specifically chewie) to 1/4 of their health while the boss tanks stay firmly at an insane health rating? Did anyone try to beat Dark Side Normal 7-H? Fives is insane.

There is also an issue with the challenge involving GMT and Veers. Yes it's ridiculous now, but there seems to be an issue with the health meter up top because it stays green even when GMT and Veers are near death.

Please fix the tanks, they're called tanks for a reason..

Mixed feelings here , we haven`t try everything new yet so it is too early to judje ... Hard is good! Hard is interesting.

One thing i am sure about i don`t like and understand is Yoda nerf so badly. This was the most challenging, most interesting character of all to get and promote to 7 stars. It required months of planing and tons of crystals, credits and strategy to equip and promote 5 Jedi to 7 stars and win the last battle.

All this efforts until now had a worthy reward and so it should be - nice OP character with great damage and great speed. You wasted 5 Jedi to get 1 who makes a difference in your battles. Why would you turn this into an average low damage character?

This update has been painfull for me so far. But let us give it a try for a few days, who knows we might actually see alot of variety in the game. The only thing that gets to me is the challenge, its too hard IMO. Im not saying its impossible, its just that its too hard that i actually have to try it over and over again so that maybe luck is on my side in one of those tries. On the other hand, i can see that arena would be more enjoyable since people would rely less on a RNG since you have more turns to figure a way to win the battle.

I think its better if they just get rid of the protection at the moment since we have no way to recover protection. The change they did with the defence is enough to make the game balance in my opinion.

I have mixed feeling about the update. It was clearly not tried in every mode. GW is now a it daft. Protection has made GW too unbalanced. Easiest solution would be to remove it from GW, failing that the difficulty on each node needs scaling down a little. Not much, but if one of your key characters loses protection early on there is currently no way to recover it prior to later battles. During these later battles you will be facing fully protected characters with a greater power than your team.

The genius who put this shield bs, not thinking to make it regen with every battle in GW needs to be shown the door. In GW you already face the next battle with some health missing, specials used (and now no shields). Whereas the other team has Full shield, full health and all specials at the ready. This just stacks the odds completly against you and is un unfair method.
GW is crucial to me as this is the main source for my credits to upgrade toons.
Update needs to be fixed fast. Because if i cant upgrade toons due to this absurd grind then bye bye.

I am still totally on the fence. I am glad you are trying to change the game away from the speed meta. However as a FTP it is now really hard to me to prioritise where to put my resources. As the challenges are so hard now I would need to pour resources into attackers to beat Veers and Tarkin and I just don't want to do that. I think one solution to help FTP players would be to add a few more characters into each of the places to farm (arena shipments, gw shipments, cantina tokens and cantina battles). So for example I am farming both an ewok team and a rebel team. However with the current update I am pretty desperate to land a high health, high protection character that hits hards. Savage would be perfect. But im farming Storm trooper Han. There aren't too many other characters that meet this criteria (maybe 5's aside) that are FTP farmable. Or at least can be farmed in a hurry to help us catch up with these changes that have been made in the update.

In addition I think RG needs some sort of look at. The whole point of this update was to create variety in teams. But he will be in every team still. Maybe change it so he can only taunt once or twice. Not every time you knock an opponent down half their health. He is so hard to kill and protects all the other characters so much more than all other tanks.

In addition I think the nerf to speed characters was too harsh. I agree there should have been a nerf. But protection did that already. Eeth Koth is completely useless. And to add insult to injury yoda sucks now. And yoda is the greatest jedi ever known and he is the only reason I farmed Koth. If I knew yoda would be so bad I would have farmed.......you guessed it......savage!.

So I guess I think it may have been better to introduce protection first and then change speed meta in another update. Or at least not have nerfed certain characters so much.

I had a lot of negative things to say at first. I've figured a lot out since then. Not sure if I enjoy the changes, but they seem manageable. I am not looking forward to the tank challenge though.

So far I'm seeing the same general character utility. It just takes longer. Turn meter manipulation is definitely the future. The reign of the ewoks and clones has begun.
