What the "response" should have said was this:
"we added a bunch of changes, not content, all of which require a massive money dump to respond to.
Even the event, which was made focusing on characters almost no one uses, which theoretically we could claim is new content but is really just a fly-by-night money grab like the rest of this game has become. First you have to buy the packs, then the crystals to level, just to complete, then you are rewarded with shards for the same characters you just had to dump money into. It's like a human-centipede sewn together in a circle! But hey some of it goes to charity!
The balance changes we made will alienate any children from playing, and increase the time demand! We added more hitpoints for every enemy you face, while in most cases nerfing yours and your damage as well! It's like dark souls now, but without the graphics, story, gameplay and it costs exponentially more!
Oh and we finally released away to get one of the unobtainable items! It is geared towards low level toons with no synergy! That said we have put the gear that everyone needs and counts on behind an impassible wall of time and endless health. But hey you can spend more to diversify, and you can spend even more to get the gear and credits in an alternate way.
GW is back to being either impossible or a chore! After all that time we spent fixing it, don't worry, it is now back to being not worth the time or frustration to get what you absolutely need to advance by actually playing our game. See that box of crystals for a hundred bucks, looks like a great deal now, eh?! You'll need at least five just to build your core team to max, and we will pull the rug out in a few months so you can once again experience the joy of making purchases from the app store!
And lastly fear not, Dooku is still OP, as long as it's not yours. You can face him 7 battles in a row in GW except now he will counter attack, stun, and offense up even more! Plus our next major update will include a rancor, which Luke killed with a rock in five seconds, but hey, he ate that piggy dude, right. Still no true PvP, but guilds, which we will use to undoubtedly introduce another premium currency to buy!
Please maschochisticall give the new update plenty of time before you formulate the correct opinion about it. This will give you the opportunity to buy those crystal vaults to see if you can somehow get your team to a point where it's not a horrible slog!
