Ok my second impressions since the update.
1. Time sink I initially complained about for challenges seems to have been acceptably resolved by the change to difficulty level and speed up of animations.
2. Speed up of animations is also helping in Arena, but still going over the 4 min mark in most fights. I wonder if adding one more minute to the timer would be reasonable?
3. GW surprisingly did not pose me any major problems, and I finished close to around the normal time frame. Prior to the update, I normally played my A squad from the start and then would throw in my B/C squads to soften up hard nodes at the end. (I do have 3 full max level/gear squads). Now I start with my C squad and play them up into the hard nodes. At that time I bring in my A with full protection. My lack of problems aside, I can see where protection may be issues for people when they are at those transitional stages not yet having reached purple gear but facing teams that have...
4. Not minding protection in general and am glad that OHKO is gone from Arena etc.
5. Not sure about the overall damage balance changes, but willing to give them more time. It does feel that Jedi went from weak to overly weak now... May just be my perception since Jedi are my favorites, but now I seem to have much better success with non Jedi.
6. Still really really dislike the new health bar. IMHO it is much more difficult to distinguish HP differences between characters and determine damage amounts dealt....
