Minimum gear levels and Questions about if this team will work to get CLS [Merged]

Old Ben > Gear VIII(soonish gear IX)
Leia > Gear VIII (Going to take some time for dat gear IX,but other wise has omegas on 1st and 2nd ability)
Luke Skywalker > Gear IX and nice mods
STHan > Gear IX and nice mods
R2D2 > Gear VI and ability level is half upgraded

What do i need to have to beat CLS because I need to start working on them soon,I have no ideea when CLS might pop.he might even come next week

I have heard at least gear 9 all the way around but you really need R2 up he's a really good toon that's is a good addition anywhere

Gear VIII is plenty for Old Ben. I had Leia IX, Luke VIII, Han VIII and R2 at XI. Only had R2 left standing in the final battle.

Could you guys give me a hint on what levels of gear are the minimum on what chars?

R2 will by my main char so ill level him up as much as possible.
I have SThan on gear 9, can easily take him to gear 10.
Farmboy is on lvl 8, same story can get him to lvl 9 easily.
But i have no idea what to aim on Leia and Old Ben.

Also the mods, who needs most speed, who needs most defence/protection.

I'm aiming for G9 on all except R2, who is G10 right now - perhaps I can reach G11 in time.
That should suffice.

Mod wise, I'm going for speed/potency on R2 to stun and burn as much as possible, speed on luke and leia for faster damage, health/protection on ben and han for survivability and taunts.

G8 is sufficient for Ben. If it's not trouble to get Han to 10, I'd do it.

My Leia was 10, but 8 may be sufficient as long as you omega her stealth.

I believe this will be sufficient but wanted to double check. Next time CLS rolls around, my CLS event squad are all GL9 with R2 Number Crunch zeta’d. Am I good or do I need to push higher?

Should be fine. I was asking if my Ben was good enough at 7* g9 and folks were saying I'll be fine. It seems like if you have the squad and you have a reasonable amount of gear invested, you'll be fine.

You could move your arena mods to the team during the event just to make sure, but then you should be fine.

Probably best to first try it with what you have on them, if that isn't enough then start moving stuff over until you beat it. Don't overkill by preemptively moving things and then find out you blew a bunch of resources you didn't need to.

I'm grinding so that I can emergency gear STH and Leia to G10 if needed but otherwise I'm sitting on the gear. I have fleet crew who could use the gear better and I'd rather not use gear on toons whose current gear levels are already sufficient for the other areas of the game I use them in.
