Mk8 Biotech Implant Salvage

I really wish they'd do something about these.... like maybe putting them back into raid rewards? It's salvage. It should be easier to get than it is. Although they are a pain to farm and you always need them, at least we have multiple ways to farm things like stun cuffs, stun guns and mk3 carbanti. The implant salvage is a different story and paying 2000 crystals for a crafted mk 8 biotech implant is unappealing to say the least. It's a great game and I think the gear problem isn't as bad as we all make it out to be.... with the exception of this salvage. It's 60 of the salvage a pop and its one of the more common pieces needed by characters. It's the only piece of gear I honestly can say is hampering my ability to enjoy this game at the moment.

    The shortage on these is hard to believe I know but you'll see once you start gearing more characters to 11/12.

    I misspoke when I said this was the only real gear issue that has me sometimes considering dropping the game. I had forgot about the g12+ pieces. I don't expect those pieces to be handed out like candy but my guild has been doing the HSTR for quite a while and I still don't have enough pieces for a single mk12 Armatek Data Pad. That just seems crazy to me after almost 6 months. I've finished in the top 10 for every one of the raids.

    That's a different issue, but youre right with this. The amount of garbage gear is unbelievably high. The useful gear is sparce, while bactagel3, holo4 and other tankspam is always there in huge numbers.

    CG did it on purpose, to create another paywall. Im 3,5 mil GP player and need 600 of them right now, have 0. I stopped spending crystals to buy those 25 from shop (for 375 crystals) cos they are useless now that i cant put together 60 of those salvages - and they are very expensive. U get 50 -60 per week, thats not enough. It wasnt a problem before (when we got it via HAAT), now we are stuck. And with the new gear added with DR, CG is creating new paywall, without reducing the old one. Pathetic...

    How do you guys get so many black balls that you actually run out of the yellow ones?

    I’m almost completely out of these as well. I have 60 and I had a stockpile of over 2000 of them. I do have 51 G12 characters though.

    The same way that I went from almost 600 carbs to zero in a day. (A while ago) When you need them, you need a lot of them, especially for a whole faction to move to the next gear level.

    54 g12 now, 3.99M GP. Currently have 1111 Mk8 Salvage and 7 Mk8 Component. I don't see the Salvage ever becoming an issue for me; the Components are always the long pole.
