Yeah...this was not so cool imo. Comparing early game gearing and cost to 3.5 years down the line is not equivalent. We could compare the time and money required to get a character to a similar gear level...if the games were equally balanced with activities that led to levelling and gearing.
I may as well compare how much it costs to get a full meal at McDonalds vs a full meal at...._________(insert name of fancier restaurant in your city)
You have been around a long time so would remember the old days where there was no marquees and a whole bunch of characters/releases were chromium pack only. Used to cost 2K in some cases to get a 7* Baze or Krennic/DT combo to 7*
In terms of character shards only, $100 gets you more nowadays (ie: not counting gear)
