You are likely discussing the most expensive gamble in the game. There is nothing that will have more confirmation bias than this. Imagine all the screams about "working as intended" if omicrons had only a 25% chance to put it on the character you wanted, 75 % on other toons you didn't pick; even worse there could be by-lines in the kit that may not be present sometimes.
