Mod help

When you all are farming mods do you just use A and B mods or just try and replace your E mods with better ones. Been farming for a week, got a lot of 5 dots bit no A or B ones to start

i don't upgrade grey mods. I only upgrade green/blue mods if they have a speed secondary. I upgrade most purple/gold mods. I do however upgrade every speed and critical damage primary. Equipping depends on the stats. Even gold mods can be pretty much useless.
