I almost had a terrible accident earlier when I pressed the wrong button and 'destroyed' one of my +30 speed mods when moving it from my raid team to arena team.
Thankfully we have the 'revert' button so disaster was avoided.
But why would anyone ever want to destroy a mod rather than pay a few thousand credits to remove it? I understand that removing a full set of mods across many toons can get expensive, but nobody who has spent millions buying a mod and upgrading it would ever want to destroy it!
And meanwhile selling it after removing it makes you more money than the cost to remove
