good question!
general to mods: i would say so: getting good mods is total rng. you can buy the packs in the store and try your luck, you can buy packs for slicing, or you buy some solid mods with good secondaries in the mod store. pay to win is difficult here. the more mods you slice, the higher are the odds to get good stats.
another question is the management. changing mods for a raid is a grind! here i would wish some ingame tools, to „reset“ the changes after using the heroes. or using a special team should include the mods the heroes had, when the team was built.
unfair advantage i don‘t see in the special software, perhaps it‘s a little bit more manageable. if the changes in the software are followed by changes in the game this can bring a nice saving of time.
i like to play around with mods in the game, now with the focus on gac a quality-of-life update would be nice! (a reset button to bring all mods back after a raid, a conquest-battle or a tw-fight…)
