Mod swapping in TB

So thats like a max of what, a lil over 130k total power you could manipulate if swap mods on every toon (assuming you have them all unlocked and lv 50+) since players have millions of points of power, 130k swing will not break the game...

Sure someone will maybe have a situation where there a couple thousand off from whatever and manipulating that with the current horrendous mod system is like what... the equivalent of someone who scrapes gum from under restaurant tables to make a whole piece of used gum?

It's not worth it... It takes a lot for me to mess with mods at all, much less a grand scheme like this

I will try it.. if my chars need just little bit power to pass the requirement.. why not? :#

People will do what I plan on doing, putting junk lvl' mods on junk toons you won't ever use in a combat mission and park them. Why unmod them?

The only swapping useful will be between a few teams used for the special, combat missions and the 10 or so toons for Playoon so locking the mods won't affect Deployment score than any more than 1k per toon used in those. Maybe max 20k per phase. Given its millions between star levels esp the higher phases you are in, it would very, very rarely make any impact what so ever.

Not to mention that the 130k GP you'd gain would come at the cost of 3.5 million credits in swapping mods... per phase. Or you could just take that 20 million you'd spend in the entire 6 phase TB and just upgrade 5-dot Mods to level 12 for everyone that needs them.

Lol no one in their right mind would do this.

There will probably be more swapping of mods to let squads beat combat missions, rather than trying to eek out a bit more galactic power.

Exactly right. And the incremental increase in power is not much. Might as well just use the credits to level other toons and build your GP organically.

Yep. Water them, make sure they get plenty of sun....grow 'em good. Actually the "organic" metaphor works really well...because I look down at the bottom of my roster and think "Wow...that's a lot of fertilizer."

1k gp... from 0 mods to 5* level 15 mods...

As others have said not worth it at all...

People imo are putting waaaaay to much focus on having large useless army of toons for the deployments, besides stars on lightside for platoons people should be focusing on 5 teams and multi configurations to defeat the battles.

Deployments is just some butter thrown on top, a near complete g10 toon I have is worth 30k. From Warriors video he got 280k (PLUS the deployment value of toons 30+k ea) for defeating 5/6 in a battle.

Though as someone mentioned above either it will count GP as you deploy, so you can swap mods, or it will count current/live status making swapping mods pointless for GP in deployments. Either way you are talking about small amounts of swing.

So imo those with the crazy "upgrade" plans is fun to talk about etc but in reality probably not nearly worth the effort. Sure throw some of that g1-6 that you have 1000s of, but make sure you have starred up your lightside first.

Addendum to my note above. Moving a 5 dot, level 12 mod costs 4750 credits, gives 180 GP. If you calculate credits/GP you get nx27 credits/GP (where n is the number of battle phases going to do). So if you were only ever going to do 1 territory battle phase, this might make sense (only thing cheaper is going from 1 to 2 stars, at 22 credits/GP). Increase number of battles/phases, and it quickly becomes uneconomical.
