Admiral Piett datacron not working

I've upgraded the new datacron to level 9, Admiral Piett unlocked. However it seems to me it isn't working as per the description. When Piett dies, and there are other living allies, the dead ones are not revived. The living ones don't get 100% health, protection, offense and turn meter.  And no, they were not killed with abilities that prevent revive. Anyone else encountered the same problem? So far I've only tried this in squad arena but happens every time. I'm relatively new player, so any help appreciated.
