Mods and Omegas for Thrawn Event

Like everyone else, I really don’t want to gear my Phoenix more than I have to so I was hoping to get it done with g8 on everyone plus omegas on their uniques. From what I understand this is doable, correct? My question is about mods. I’m going to move over my arena set but I’m not 100% which characters require the most speed. Right now my set looks like this:

+72 speed
+74 speed
+75 speed
+90 speed
+110 speed

The +90 and +110 speed are both speed sets so they are giving the 10% bonus. The +90 speed also has the most protection. Which character do I put the +90 on and which do I put the +110 set on?

Also, what is the order of importance for omegas on the uniques? I’ll try doing the minimum and then omegaing them all if I have to.

Lastly, what is the order of importance for gearing to g9 if all else fails? I really, really, really do not want to g9 Zeb or Kanaan as they both require two stun guns,a furnace, and a Carbanti....
  • You definitely need Chopper’s basic at omega. Passive assists, but more importantly those buffs and cooldown reductions.
  • Okay i will try to improve all what maximize the DPS and surivability... i think the taunt skills didnt needed to be upgraded (the Taunt of kanan and chopper), or what u think?
  • I think youll be fine. Good mods are more important than gear for this event.

Yeah, just having a taunt is good enough. The omega isn't *that* important.

Just a note ahead of time to prevent discouragement: Doing it with Chopper and low(ish) gear isn't really the intended way of doing it--it's not an exploit and it's not cheating so no worries!--but what this means is that it's very RNG-dependent. You might retreat and retry dozens of times. Every piece of gear, every omega, every upgrade will reduce the influence of RNG, though. So don't get discouraged when you find yourself retreating for the 30th time. You've got a full week for the event, just keep plugging away and eventually you'll get the right seed.
