Need info to prepare for next Rey Hero's Journey

Hi! I'm doing Luke's hero's journey event and I see its not *exactly* like unlocking Yoda or Palp (you know, simply having five jedi/rebel at 5*, char star lvl unlocks next tier and so on) and I found...

You need all at 7* if you want to complete it.

If you just want to play a couple tiers (or in this case one tier), ok, but I don't know why you'd want that. You (theoretically) have months to prepare.
