CG really should change their announcement post. Concurrently means at the same time, simultaneous, synchronized, coexisting, together, along side each other. Pick one, and not running the other is not concurrent. Two runners racing along side each other are running concurrently. One runner racing, and another sitting on the bench because he didn't get picked are NOT concurrent. This is needlessly confusing. I know they only have one computer at the office, but couldn't CG spring for an old fashioned dictionary?
They used the word “running” before the word “concurrently” running concurrently does in fact mean running at the same time. The only confusion is that it wasn’t originally stated you couldn’t participate in both.
Running concurrently means running... concurrently. One runs. One does not run. That is the wrong wording entirely.
Everyone is only reading one word it says “running concurrently “ which is true but everyone wants to read it as “participate concurrently “
Participate means to take part it. Runs means function in this context. If it is running I can participate in it. One of them is not running. But they are saying they are both running. That is the sorce of confusion. They are saying they are both running when what they mean is you pick one to run, and the other does not run during the same time frame."JacenRoe;c-1877896" wrote:

Actually what they said was right, they are both running concurrently, meaning they will both be ran at the same concurrent time on their server. What they left out was that people have to choose which to participate in. It's the same as saying there is a concert running in an arena but at the same time there is a movie across town running at the same time and it's up to you to decide which to take part in. Basically can't be in 2 places at once"JacenRoe;c-1877864" wrote:

This is needlessly confusing. I know they only have one computer at the office, but couldn't CG spring for an old fashioned dictionary? They know 50 ways to say an event is really hard in multiple languages. Someone there obviously knows words good. Find that person, and let them proofread.
Just so I have it right...are you really shaming their use of wording while saying “someone there obviously knows words good”? That happened right?"Vos_Landeck;c-1877835" wrote:

It's ****!!!! You're killing smaller guilds!!! You're pushing great players in smaller guilds to abandon them for super-guilds just to play new content!!! Just another **** example for CG selling out to the **** whales killing this great game for long-time, dedicated and passionate players!!!!
My soul is crushed!!! I've been playing this game EVERY SINGLE DAY since 2016!!! I have 3 accounts as I play with different teams and different focus and different factions. I spend money on the game (with all 3 accounts).
There has to be a balance. Make different tiers of the Geo TB based on GP, but PLEASE...for the love of GOD...PLEASE consider the lower GP guilds out there. We love this game just as much as the **** whales...we just don't have the time or money to they do.
NEVER!!! Never have I been so mad at CG for even considering this....for completely disrespecting and regarding lower GP guilds. I'm just so disgusted.
I must be playing a different game. 80 million GP isn't a "super-guild", lmao.
LMAO...I didn't say 80 million was a super-guild. OMG...Stop trolling and pay attention to what's going on around you. CG laid out that guilds at 80 Million GP could join but they wouldn't do very well...meaning the higher GP of the guild the better you'd do in the Geo TB....thus....pushing players into bigger and bigger guilds.
CG said guilds at 80 million GP would be able to "obtain a couple of stars" and it would be "very, very challenging." AGAIN….if you weren't trolling you'd be able to employee critical thinking skills to understand what that means --- everyone needs to join bigger and bigger guilds in order to experience and enjoy the rewards of the new Geo TB. Period."Ryanodo;c-1877912" wrote:

Yes. It was sarcasm."Vos_Landeck;c-1877835" wrote:

My thoughts exactly. And how dare they create content that isn’t for new players. Haha."JacenRoe;c-1877917" wrote:

Gotcha. Will assume the whole post was then. That makes sense then."Thraesh;c-1877911" wrote:

We pick one. It runs. We cannot run the other. They are not running concurrently in my guild.- Did they say they were running concurrently or that your guild could run them concurrently? I continue to detect a failed reading comprehension here.
- so now we just have to miss out on IPD/Rolo shards and hoth specific territory battle achievements or forgo new content? i mean this sort of goes against the completionist framework. i mean I guess with G13 IPD's self destruct damage won't be massive enough for it to be a useful means of breaking a TW logjam but I still want the iconic droid, and that AT AT profile pic is pretty nice too.
