In the interview when they spoke about the gear crunch, the response was basically it's WAI and that they were added to ship store so that will help....and we can all see the exchange rate on gear there.... - Or gear for credit
- A gear shop where we can use ally points would be better
- Though it would be nice, I don't think it's a good idea. If gear is so easily available it will take away from the competetiveness of the game

- There are too many bottlenecks overall in this game in my opinion. I understand the gear crunch, as it creates the desire for people to spend money... but when you combine a gear crunch, with a mod crunch, a credit crunch, low drop rate on character shards, ship credit crunch, training droid crunch, sim ticket crunch, etc. I fee like it discourages a huge number of the player base from spending anything at all as opposed to maybe encouraging them to buy a few things to try and get that next piece of gear or just something. When you put a strain on the player in every aspect of the game I think it can lower the moral of the lower 90% of the playerbase and discourage any spending.

Im actually fine about the whole RNG with character shards, I just think that gear should be something that is much easier to get.
