While I obviously agree the bug should be fixed, they can’t halt GAC because of a bug that affects a small portion of the player base.
Also keep in mind that in the slightly longer run it’s not going to matter if you have ult for this or the next round, or even the one after.
You will still average a 50% win rate, getting ult later just move when you will make a small jump in rankings and settle in your new equilibrium
Its a big portion of the player base.
The 50% general win rate is myth.
Wrong on both counts.
I highly doubt it’s a huge portion that are working on GL ult for one of the 4 affected GLs within a single week. It’s a portion and it’s a stupid annoying impact to that portion, but not a large part of the total player base.
If you had ult 1 week earlier you would hit your GAC equilibrium 1 week earlier, that is all from an income perspective. There is some impact if the ult allow you to jump to a new league/division, but that’s assuming faster growth than those around you.
If you believe your long term average is different than 50% and affected by the bug do elaborate.
And yes, I still agree CG should make fixing this bug top priority but I think people need to not suggest actions more detrimental or overstate the impact
Nope im not.
Leviathan bug levels of complains across foruns, discords, comments, streams, which means a lot of players cant farm ult and not all players post, likewise when a player quit a game, the majority just quit without expressing that.
A week without gl does affect gac.
Only for that week.
You lose, you get easier matchups next week.
In the long run it barely matters, if at all.
