Meh. YOU give him a chance. I'm probably not even going to see this one until it comes out on Netflix. Market getting saturated and Han is one of my favorite characters - I prefer to leave his backstory a mystery, personally. I'll be me and you do you! No judgement here.
Also: I've learned long ago to separate actors from the characters they play otherwise there'd be precious few characters I'd allow myself to like (Tom Hanks can't play EVERYBODY, you know, lol).
