I'm running Sion (maxed gear) with a speed and a defense set. He's at 50.29% armor and when I unequip one of the defense mods it drops to 46.63% (the mod has a +1.59% defense secondary). Based on that one can calculate the armor for the "worst case" in which the unique bonus is additive. In that case it it would increase from 50.29% to 64.07%.
