New mod slice dropping rates

I just spent 400 energy, did x5 sims on four different 'bonus' drop points: got zero drops. Is it working?! This is the bonus time so... What is this?

It’s just not the mod slice drops for me, I did 4 energy refreshes to do the last characters I need and didn’t get a single shard out of 600 energy used
