You can reap his raid usage before he becomes farmable (aka spend $$$)
All the rewards are concentrated to the top and if he turns out to be super amazing it means you need to spend money so that you can get the best rewards in sith raid for MONTHS before others in your guild can since its designed to only reward the top scorers
Once he's farmable they'll release something or someone less or everyone will end up having similar runs
