I think you're fixating on your perception that people fixate on that max star. It's an example of CG creating something for the "future" that they didn't plan very well. For at least a year or more they've pretty much ignored TB, the exception being that bug with Shaak Ti that caused her to go crazy out of control. Other than that Geo TB, both LS and DS, are irrelevant to them. But, like the North, players remember.

If not for max stars, what's the problem for ls geo? The only legitimate problem that ever existed for ls geo was kam mission being sporadic even with best stuff on the team. Not being able to kill the missions or not getting very high amount of stars...besides still being unmaxable was never a problem.

I gathered data from 6 months of KAM run my old guild ran.
Assuming Zoom/Discord support or Significant experience
Tier 1 —> R6 Echo, R6 Arc + R7 Fives = 77% success rate
Upgrade option 1 —> R7 Arc ( + Tier 1) = >80% success rate
Upgrade option 2 —> R6 STi + CAvoid arrow OR R7 STi = >80% success rate
Tier 2 —> Both upgrade options = >90% success rate.

That’s 45+/50 shards consistently. In what way is that “sporadic”?
