What I did to complete the ability challenge feat is to go to the actual battle and sim Tier V and only V. I tried V once and I received credit towards the feat.
Knowing that I still had 2 other turns, I then tried VI once and I didn't recieve any credit, so I went back to V and using my last turn, simmed V and *poof*, I got credit. Quest now complete.
If you ran out of turns, next time the challenge comes back in a few days, try simming Tier V alone.
