NEW Ultimate ability mats for NEW GLs

If you hoard from, let say Rey, to put in JML you will still need to do JML ultimate levels to put in your Rey or you will have a Rey without ultimate. Ultimate materials are different from others stuff in game, you can’t get it in any other way.

I'm just saying: make brand new mats and make everyone equally deserve Ultimate abilities for new GLs, not just use the mats from old ones on day 1

As I recall, after you’ve got 10 ulti materials from Rey, you can’t get anymore. So you can’t really hoard them, other than say, save up and forego ulti in the GL you already have, which is not a great trade off, unless you unlock them almost at the same time...

But why? You make it seem like there is some sort of reason.

This. You cant actually hoard them, you can only have what you need to do 1.

Ok, that's an interesting suggestion, but it doesnt seem to be something everyone would understand, or even want.

You can hoard them if you're willing to not put them on an unlocked GL.
