Yes they did. and they answered. The short answer is that won't happen. If you want the long answer its somewhere in this pile of comments
Ya I did see something about somewhere.... the excuss is that zombie will not move because it has 0 speed. BUT as I said you can feed zombie tm.
It's in the game mechanics that if a toon has 0 speed, they will never take a turn. The dev post about this was somewhere in the comments, but if you need proof, just look at what happens when you Thrawn TM swap a fractured toon.
