No light or dark side in the new movie. Game affected??

Was wondering how this will affect the game going forward. What I have been interpreting fro TFA and the trailer of TLJ is that there's no dark side or light side just the force. I doubt they will change the game because of this and I wouldn't want them to either. Just wondering what others taught about this and how it may effect the game going forward.

    First order is closest to dark side. Resistance is closest to light. Whatever bounty hunter or scoundrel works with what side; that's the side they go on.

    I dont think the movie is eliminating light and dark.

    Moved to correct sub forum.

    The devs have stated they will not stray from the LS and DS primary tags. Every character will have one.

    From the development we have seen I wouldn't be surprised if in the future we saw maybe 2 versions of a character one light and one dark.

    In tfa, the first order slaughtered an innocent village. They could not possibly be on the dark side. I mean, it's not like they're the remnants of the empire.

    The grey stuff is just fan theories.

    There will be no dissolution of light and dark.

    If Mace Windu, Revan, Asajj, and various others who were both Sith and Jedi can be categorized as light or dark at some point, no reason to remove tags.

    If anything, they will release light and dark versions of the same character.

    Star Wars and Disney are both based on good vs Evil, Light vs Dark. A movie trailer won't undo that, and I would wager 100,000 crystals that The Last Jedi flick doesn't either

    No game will not be affected. It will still be LS unlocks all the good stuff and DS gets passed over for almost a year
