Can I collect it for free tomorrow?

So far it seems to be pretty much garbage. A free 2 week calendar of Cap ship shards (5 of each) and ship captain shards. They go straight to the shard shop. The inquisitor calendar for $20 looks about the only thing worth looking at. I don’t know who in there right mind would blow 5000 crystals on a pull of the slot machine handle for 330 shards of toons. You’ll wind up with junk like Rose Tico or Lobot for sure.

Wasn’t that announced like a week ago ? I can’t remember where but i read about the 2 days double drop last week. Not sure if it was a message in game, a forum post or something else.

Isn't even more bad, then? They announced it already on forums and it was in datamine a day before the ingame notification appeared? So why don't they also announce it ingame earlier? It is no secret and if you click it away you won't miss it when double drops are live

Yeah, seems weird to have not done the in-game yesterday. But not surprising that CG is bad at communication.

Also a bummer that the rewards this year are so much worse than last year.

I guess the reward is that Darth Malgus made it into the game
