No way to obtain blueprints for capital ships!

Hey guys I'm a devoted player I spend minimal amounts of money I feel time and effort makes a gaming experience rather than paying your way to the top but anyway there is no other option to gain blueprints for capital ships after you complete a challenge you are pretty much stuck there my imperial ship is maxed out at 1 star and I can't upgrade any farther please give a fix for this
