We've heard back from Amazon and they have resolved errors on their side.
Normal play is now resuming and 03 errors are disappearing.
Amazon is aware of the issue and are assuring us they have it fixed for future releases.
We are confident these changes will ameliorate the issues we had today.

We're seeing most players back into the game. We're still expanding servers.
If you get an 03 error, it is because you hit a busy server.
03 errors should lessen and disappear in the coming minutes.

Players should be able to re-enter the game now.
Confirmed, Galactic War drops are double per the event.
We are still doing smoke testing on live game, I'll update when complete.

We have Amazon technicians talking to our server techs. I'll post when we have an ETA.

Our participation levels for the Double Drop days has delayed our server restarts. We're spinning up more servers now.

Just got a forced restart. Now am stuck at the loading cantina screen. Eventually i get an error saying it's my connection. Anyone else?

BTW at some point Google Play decided you had to give it a special name where before it never did. This happened a few weeks ago to me and at first I thought I was making a new account when I wasn't. It just logs me in now with the name "Qeltar" and not just my email address.
