Omega Tags

Pretty safe to assume that she'll have the bad batch tag but it's gonna be interesting to see if she's going to also get the clone trooper tag.

This would allow Wrecker to start with Furious whereas with Omega only having the bad batch tag he'd sit at 9 stacks of Fury.

She's confirmed to be a clone and while from a logical standpoint a "trooper" tag wouldn't make sense for her we still got 'backline' chars such as Piett and Mon Mothma receiving trooper tags so there is a chance the same thing is gonna happen with Omega.

Thoughts?

    You can listen to the podcast, they don't think its exactly lore accurate to give her a CT tag, and its stretching it a lot but for synergy reasons with other BB she's getting the CT tag


    I know I listened to it, was just making a joke is all lol


    Sounded more like a “forum joke” (aka an irrational complaint) lol I’m just joking here though

    Interesting, I was expecting them to avoid the clone trooper tag and only give her the BB tag to avoid making other clones too OP. But they did the exact opposite. And Attacker is also a bit of a surprise - sort of explained by the whole "no idea who the 5th would be" Disney info blackout. Must be hard to design a squad with only bits of information.

    I understand why they were saying Crosshair wouldn’t be added to the team, but by that same logic the bad batch shouldn’t have the GR tag. At the moment he betrays them the Republic no longer exists, so which is it? Are they season 7 clone wars versions or season bad batch versions? Visually I’d much rather have Crosshair, so that the team is full black and red clone troopers, but now I get a literal child instead.

    I’d rather have Crosshair too. I just hope they haven’t ruined the rest of the season by releasing Omeeega and saying Crosshair won’t be in the Bad Batch.

    I feel like they could have amended Bad Batch character abilities to say they affect other Bad Batch allies or Omega, and her abilities to say they affect Bad Batch characters. That might be a cleaner solution so that she isn't getting bonuses from, say, Shaak Ti.

    But, eh, making a character more useful rather than too narrow is fine.

    In the “developer insight” it clearly states they planned for her as the 5th BB from the start
