Omicrons

I'm still on zero, with 3 refreshes each day.

I popped my omicron cherry from the incomplete signal data node yesterday. Totally wasn't expecting it so I was pleasantly surprised. It'll take me months to unlock BFSoJ through normal conquest and tokens/crystals anyway so there's not much of a rush to collect them.

You farm signal data in the cantina, not omegas or omicrons. Any of those that drop are gravy on top of the mashed poatoes of signal data.

You don't farm them in cantina, you earn them in Galactic Challenge and can pick up an extra couple every now and again through cantina.

Omicrons will not come from cantina. I don't even know how many omegas I've got from cantina nodes because they're so rare that it's counterproductive to expect them and be disappointed, cantina is for shards and signals. I can't imagine omicrons will drop more frequently than omegas.

You get 2 omicrons from the 8th box up in GCs, which actually surprised me, I was expecting them to be limited to the red box only. I wouldn't put it past CG to "adjust" the rewards for GCs in the future to make omicrons more scarce, but for now, you can reliably get 4/week, so 16 a month. You can have enough mats for 2 of new Boba's abilities by the time first unlocks happen in 3 months.

Depending on how often new toons receive omicron abilities, getting mats for 1 omicron ability every 5 weeks is actually rather fair imo. I'll take the good changes where I can get them.

Not right off the bat. They said 2 per title update. So it'll take a while for you to farm enough omicrons, long enough that you'll see some of the new abilities by the time you can actually get one.

My first omicron will most likely be Sidious. If I can make this R7 noodle power wonder boi OP in one gamemode, that's already a good enough upgrade for me. I assume most of the first batch of omicrons will be for PVP modes like TW or GAC.

Finally got my first one. 100 x 3 x 3days =1
So 10 a month(ish) so 2 months to make a full piece.
I’ll probably have faster success trying to find a blockchain with pencil and paper and a calculator.
